Our partnership with our sister organization, The Glom Institute allows Glom Initiatives to work hand in hand to further the mission of improving public awareness about the importance of psychological health and well-being throughout the lifespan. The Glom Institute has a particular focus on disadvantaged communities and sensitive populations such as older adults and teen-aged adolescents.
The Glom Institute is a 501 C3 non-profit organization that supports communities with psychosocial support, education and training through events, workshops and forums. Since 2022, the Glom Institute has been committed to providing sensitive populations with tools and to reduce loneliness, isolation and improve well-being by applying evidence-based interventions and information.
Better Well-Being through community
Glom Initiatives and the Glom Institute collaborate to partner with organizations such as JenCare, Old Dominion University (formerly EVMS), Norfolk State University, the Virginia Beach Rotary Club, and others to bring evidence-based well-being knowledge to communities and improve access to the latest research findings.
